چکیده:

In this paper, two different objective functions are proposed for optimal design the UPFC controller. To ensure the robustness of the proposed stabilizers, the design process considers a wide range of operating conditions. The effectiveness of the new controller is demonstrated through eigenvalue analysis and timedomain simulation studies. The results of these studies show that the designed controller has an excellent capability in damping power system oscillations.
