چکیده:

In this paper a CPW-fed UWB monopole antenna with polygon grounded strips for medical applications is presented. The antenna is designed for operation across the entire UWB from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz with band-notch in 5-6 GHz by inserting an H-shape slot. The antenna has a compact size 22 × ۲۲ × ۱٫۶ mm3, fabricated on FR4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.3. The antenna has a reflection coefficient below -10 dB through the frequency band and reasonable gain values over the same frequency band.
