The surface high speed boat is a kind of small vessel guided by boatman. This vessel is mostly used for strategic missions such as military and security operations in which high speed and maneuver are of importance. Uneven sea route and marine turbulence in addition to multiple-input and multiple-output non-linear dynamic model of this vessel make steerage process very difficult. In this paper a new controller is presented to track the desired route and maneuvering at high speed. The proposed fuzzy controller is compared with the results of PID controller. The simulation results demonstrate the desired behavior of vessel in various maneuver.
