چکیده:

Int the present paper a 3-dimensional simulation of the stream zone of the bridge pier surrounding was performed with the fluent software for the oval shape bridge pier without and with rectangular slot based on different opening ratios this software is based on finite volume method which is a very strong and appropriate method in dynamic and fluids calculations the fluent software provides a possibility of changing the network made by gambit processor and also can analyze the stream by non-organized networks for complex geometries the kind of produced meshes and their receptions by the software includes the meshes with triangle and four angle elements for two dimensional geometries and four phase six phase and pyramid elements for 3- dimensional geometries.
