چکیده:

Some 700 indigenous nomadic pastoralist tribes have roamed Iran since they firstdomesticated livestock 10 or 12 thousand years ago11.Most seasonal migrationin Iran is vertical, between highlands and lowlands,which have kept them inharmony with nature and its resources, giving them a strong sense of territory,autonomy, identity, and a rich cultural and biodiversity heritage.
