چکیده:

In this paper, Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling were carried out in a new continuous tubular sonoreactor with high frequency ultrasound waves (1.7 MHz). The fluid flow pattern inthis sonoreactor has been investigated by using this model. No chemical reaction has been studied and only mechanical mixing has been discussed. Flow pattern in the sonoreactor with high frequency of 1.7 MHz has been compared with a continuous tubular reactor without effect ofultrasound waves. Results of modeling show significant differences between the flow pattern generated inside these reactors.
