چکیده:

The electrochemical behavior of a modified carbon paste electrode (MCPE) with copper(I) oxide nanoparticles was investigated as a new sensor for metionine. The Cyclic voltammogram of copper(I) oxide nanoparticles modified carbon paste electrode (Cu2O/CPE) showed a reversiblevoltammogram. Electrocatalytic oxidation of metionine is studied in phosphate buffer solution at neutral pH=7.0( and the effect of concentration, scan rate and pH studies were made. The sensor process was found to be diffusion controlled. At pH=7.0 the catalytic peaks current were linearly depend on metionine concentrations in the range of 5×۱۰ ۵− to 5.0 ×۱۰ -۷ M metionine, using DPV. The detection limits for metionine were 9.0×۱۰ -۷M.
