چکیده:

Poly glycerol (PG) has been covalently grafted onto the surfaces of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) by the grafting from approach based on in-situ ring–opening polymerization of glycidol. The resulting product, have been characterized with IR, NMR, Raman spectroscopy methods, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), TGA andGPC. Core/shell structure with nanotube as the hard core and polymer as the softshells were clearly observed. A polymer shell promises good solubility of MWCNT-g- PG in the polar solvents such as water and methanol
