چکیده:

The bulk modification of poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) was carried out using sequential methodfor preparation of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs). A series of IPNs, based on PDMS and poly(acrylicacid), were synthesized and studied in terms of swelling behavior. Swelling behavior of the IPNs wasinvestigated and the sequential IPN preparation method was conducted to modify the surface of silicone rubberthat results in increased the surface hydrophilicity.
