چکیده:

Since brake system is one of the most momentous part of a high-speed train moving at the speed of 200Km/h, understanding of brake requirements and equipments is of great importance. Brake calculation, that plays a prominent role in designing of a brake system, is among the important parts of brake requirements, so in case braking demands are met according to what is obtained from brake calculations with regard to UIC leaflets, the brake system is reliable. Brake calculation for passenger coaches, so far, has been computed by Knorr-Bremse, then it is intended that the process of this calculation become achievable independent from Knorr-Bremse. In order to reach such calculation, MATLAB program is used to write a comprehensive code feasible to analyze given primary data to yield vitally effective parameter of a brake system. This parameters include brake deceleration, brake weight, brake percentage, brake distance on level track or gradient track, and so on. Afterwards, trying to make a comparison between different brake systems is considered. Thus, all estimated results, are displayed to find out influential differences. Finally a Knorr-Bremse approval is displayed to show that Our calculations are reliable
