چکیده:

The main purpose of this paper is to introduce an efficient framework to detecting bottleneck in a high-speed production line of the Exir Pharmaceutical Company in Tehran,Iran, in order to find out improving scenariosfor reducing bottleneck effect and increasing output of the production line.The proposed framework integrates the simulation model of the line and bottleneck detection methods. Bottleneck detectionmethods detect bottleneck machine based simulation modeloutputs and then improving scenarios are foundout. Scenarios are evaluated with simulation model based upon desired performance measures such average daily production.The results analysis indicates that the average daily production can be increased by 20%.
