چکیده:

bearing capacity is the ability ofsoil to carry the pressure placed on the soil from any enginnered structure . This paper presents the results of a series of numerical analysis carried out on spread footing in this study we use numerical approach to obtain bearing capacity of spread footing based on mohr-coulomb yield criterion , the objective of this study is to suggest bearing capacity factors to simplify the procedure of determining bearing capacity of spread footing . numerical analyses carried out on different soils and a list of bearing capacity factors obtained.
