چکیده:

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS RESEARCH WAS TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING COURSES FOR IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION STAFF IN RASHT. IN TERMS OF TYPE AND OBJECTIVE, THE RESEARCH WAS AN APPLIED ONE. RESEARCH METHOD WAS DESCRIPTIVE (SURVEY) WITH ITS POPULATION BEING ALL THE 586 STAFF OF IMAM KHOMEINI RELIEF FOUNDATION IN RASHT. SAMPLE SIZE, 232 PEOPLE, WAS CALCULATED USING COCHRAN FORMULA. IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING COURSES, A QUESTIONNAIRE WAS USED IN TWO STAGES (PRE- AND POST-TEST). COLLECTED DATA WERE ANALYZED USING SPSS18 AND THEN, THEY WERE TRANSFORMED INTO USABLE INFORMATION. IN THE FIRST STAGE, DESCRIPTIVE ANALYSIS, COLLECTED DATA WERE PRESENTED AS A DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS WITH RELEVANT FREQUENCIES AND HISTOGRAMS. FOR INFERENTIAL STATISTICS, RESEARCH HYPOTHESES WERE TESTED USING PAIR SAMPLES T-TEST FOR DEPENDANT SAMPLES TO COMPARE MEAN DIFFERENCES OF PRE- AND POST-TESTS. RESULTS INDICATED THAT ON-THE-JOB TRAINING AFFECTED UPGRADING STAFF INFORMATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, THE INCREASE IN THEIR SOLIDARITY WITH ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS, THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS, CREATING INTEREST AND ENCOURAGEMENT IN THEM AND IT ALSO AFFECTED THE INCREASE IN THE ORGANIZATION’S OVERALL EFFICIENCY.
