چکیده:

In this paper, a biological process has been considered and a control stategy is applied for regulating its outlet concentration . The system shows oscillation and chaotic behaviors for somespecial values of its parameters. The main objective is product concentration control and the adaptive sliding mode control (ASMC) strategy has been used for this purpose. Performance ofthe designed controller is tested in set point tracking, load rejection and handling the processmodel uncertainties. Since for implementaion of the desinged controller system states are required , a Lumberger like observer has been designed . The effectiveness of the applied controller is illustrated throughout simulation results.
