چکیده:

In this investigation, the effect of different dispersants on manufacturing of alumina – zirconia nanocomposites were investigated. The composites were produced from alumina and yittria stabilized zirconia nano powders by pressureless sintering method. The hard and soft agglomerates in primary powders were removed by ball milling. Different dispersants such as urea, oleic acid, stearic acid, and dextrin were used in order to prevent reagglomerating,. The effects of dispersants on microstructure, relative density, and hardness of sintered samples were investigated. The results show that urea increased green density and improved microstructure, density, and hardness of pressurelessd samples in comparison with other dispersants
