چکیده:

Epoxy resins can be cured with a wide variety of curing agents. Aliphatic and aromatic polyamines, polyamides, and their derivatives are the commonly used amine type curing agents. In this paper, the influence of different curing agents on mechanical properties of epoxy composite was investigated. Therefore, the mechanical properties of epoxy resin based on diglycidyl ether of bisphenol F (DGEBF) in the presence of different curing agents was determined through tensile tests that were performed on dog-bone specimens. Moreover, in order to improve mechanical properties of composite and decrease costs, inorganic fillers such as calcium carbonate and mica in all of the specimens instead of pure epoxy resin were used.Finally, the interfacial interaction of epoxy resin containing different curing agents was characterized via Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and confirmed by the tensile data. After complete curing process the epoxy composite contains polyamine curing agent displayed appreciable improving to mechanical properties.
