چکیده:

Couette flow between eccentric rotating cylinders has been studied in this work. The flow was assumed to be incompressible and Newtonian. Here, an incompressible version of Roe scheme has been developed and adopted for convective flux computation along with conventional averaging scheme. In which both methods demonstrated almost similar results. A FORTRAN code was developed to solve the system of discretized equations. Comparisons show favorable agreement between the various results. Low memory usage, fast convergence and direct calculation of pressure field are the advantages of this work.
