چکیده:

In this study an analytical method was used to solve the set of governing equations for the tubular membrane separation processes. The obtained results were further compared with the previous published works and good agreement was observed. It is found a simple, flexible and efficient model to design membrane module for water treatment processes. These analytical expressions can be used to benchmark numerical routines for flow modeling over perm-selective membrane and quick engineering estimate in hydrodynamic analysis of cross-flow membrane modules.
