چکیده:

In this work, the Mathias-Copeman alpha function parameters have been modified in order to investigate reservoir fluids. The vapor pressures of 21 pure compounds have been used to adjust Mathias-Copeman alpha function associated with the Peng Robinson equation of state. Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm used to find reliable parameters. The adjusted alpha function shows better behavior in correlation of vapor pressure of pure compounds in comparison with well-known equations of state. In other words, proposed modification combines simplicity and accuracy.
