Knowledge is one of the most important assets in which the success and economic growth of individual corporations depend on. As a matter of fact, many influential factors determine the success of Knowledge Management (KM) implementation and there are different ideas about KM Critical Success Factors (KMCSF), but some of knowledge management implementation projects result in failure as it is carried out only based on the theory and not considering the specific aspects of the organization. It is clear that not only implementing KM is important, but also quality of how to implement KM is much more crucial and vital. In addition, KM subject is kind of new and interesting for Iranian organizations and it seems necessary to evaluate their quality of KM implementation project. In this regard, at first, this paper tries to explain a scheme of project management for KM implementation based on European standards which it is formed through 5 phases as Setting up a KM Project, Assessment, Development, Implementation and Evaluation/Sustainability. Next, partial, general and final indicators of each phase are separately developed and at the end, they are measured through questionnaire and interviews in Tavanir Holding Company in order to realize and evaluate its KMCSF, weaknesses and strengths and the gaps.
