چکیده:

This paper provides design, simulation and characterization of a planar metamaterial absorber with a complete impassibility to the incident wave polarization. Thisstructure consists of a lossy dielectric layer of FR4 and an electric-field-coupled (ELC) structure on its top surface. This absorber structure has shown almost complete absorption at thefrequency of 10.35 GHz more than 99% with a full width at half maximum bandwidth of about 5% that in compared with similarplanar absorber structures have a good improvement. Furthermore, our design has smaller unit cell size than theearlier similar structures. In addition, the proposed structure has shown a broad angular bandwidth from 0˚ to 64˚ with more than 90% absorption peak
