چکیده:

This paper propose the use of artificial neural networks (ANN’s) to control the speed of a synchronous machine(SM). A control strategy which incorporates the neuralnetwork for control of non linear system is described and used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the neural network forcontrol of drives with nonlinearities. The neural controller generates the variations of the reference voltage vector of the SM speed control based on the speed error and its change.simulation results shows that the designed neural speed controller realises a good dynamic behaviour of the motor, a perfect speed tracking with no overshoot and a good rejection of impact loads disturbance.
