چکیده:

The importance of having an efficient method for comparing fuzzy numbers has become one of the major challenges for researchers in this field. In past years, many methods have been developed for ranking of fuzzy numbers that each one has some advantages and disadvantages. This paperpresents a new method for ranking of fuzzy numbers. Thismethod is proposed based on the concept of dominance of fuzzy numbers compared to each other in different areas. In this way, the enclosed space of fuzzy numbers is divided into smaller parallel regions and their situation is checked. There are different situations between numbers and in any situation may apply a particular policy. Finally, fuzzy numbers are ranked with regard to summation of situation of all areas. The results of implementing of this method and comparison with other papers show the accuracy and credibility of this method.
