چکیده:

In this paper we have studied the evaporative emissions from fixed roof storage tanks. The different methods for modeling and forecasting of this phenomenon are first described anddiscussed in brief. Then a mathematical method is developed on the basis of several reasonable assumptions. The results of the mathematical model are compared with several experimental datafrom the literature and in each case good agreement was observed. The effect of different parameters on the rate of evaporative emissions is discussed and important conclusions are made
