چکیده:

Due to the growing network techniques, transmission of confidential information is important. In recent years , image encryption base on chaos has suggested. It is efficient way to fast and highly secure image encryption. This paper proposes a chaos -based permutation-diffusion scheme for digital image encryption. To overcome the drawbacks of conventional permutation permutation only type image cipher, the proposed scheme introduced a significant diffusion effect in permutation procedure through confusion algorithm. The permutationchaotic -diffusion operations are realized by Arnold cat map and chebyshev respectively. Results of various types of analysis indicate that the security level of this scheme is high and the complexity is much lower
